    Stanislav Vassilyev

    Vassilyev Stanislav Nikolayevich was born in 1946. In 1970 he graduated from the Kazan Aviation Institute named after A.N. Tupolev (USSR). Its scientific adviser was academician V.M. Matrosov, who organized in Irkutsk Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS). This institute is now called the Institute for System Dynamics and Control Theory named after V.M. Matrosov. In 1991-2006, the institute was headed by S. Vassilyev. In 2006-2016, S. Vassilyev headed the V.A. Trapeznikov Institute of Control Sciences of RAS, where he continues to work as the chief researcher, as well as a professor at M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University.     Petros Voulgaris

    Professor Petros G. Voulgaris received the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University, Athens, Greece, in 1986, and the S.M. and Ph.D. degrees in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1988 and 1991, respectively.  Since 1991, he has been with the Department of Aerospace Engineering, University of Illinois where he is currently a Professor (also appointments with the Coordinated Science Laboratory, and the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.)  His research interests include optimal, robust and distributed control and estimation; networked control; applications of advanced control methods to engineering practice including, power systems, air-vehicle, nano-scale, robotic, and structural control systems.  Dr. Voulgaris is a…

    Srinivasa M. Salapaka

    Srinivasa M. Salapaka  is a Full Professor with the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering at Illinois. He received the B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology in 1995, the M.S. and the Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara, U.S.A in 1997 and 2002, respectively. During 2002-2004, he was a postdoctoral associate in the Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, USA.
